You will discover how to flash, configure, and maintain an atfs SD-card device.

This page only applies when you deploy to an SD-card device.

1. Flash a card with balena Etcher — write the .img file to a card.
2. Configure the card, either before or after flashing:
   • Use the setup tool — fill in settings in the browser, before you flash.
   • DIY editing — edit settings by hand, on the flashed card.
3. Reflash to upgrade — move an existing device to a newer image.
4. Move to new hardware — carry an instance’s identity onto a different board.
